Altamura Vodka

Altamura Distilleries Vodka is made exclusively from 100% Altamura durum wheat, sourced from the Altamura region and adjoining communes of Puglia. This is the same wheat used to produce Pane di Altamura — the world’s only bread with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status, granted in 2003. The wheat has been cultivated in this region for over 2,000 years, with varieties including Arcangelo, Duilio, and Simeto.

Altamura Distilleries Vodka delivers a smooth, full-bodied palate with a delicate cereal sweetness and pronounced umami character. The nose opens with soft, nutty aromas and gentle spice. On the palate, subtle notes of vanilla, citrus (lemon and grapefruit), and a faint aniseed quality emerge from the wheat’s natural profile. The finish is clean, creamy, and warming.
