Crafted from 100% Home Malted Barley, this limited edition expression celebrates one of The Balvenie's most distinctive crafts. Inspired by the pioneering spirit first awakened in 1931, it offers a contemporary interpretation of our enduring commitment to making whisky by hand. 

Matured in American oak and finished in ex-Sherry Bodega European oak butts from Jerez, echoing the origin of the original 1931 cask, it brings together creamy toffee, delicate ginger, aromatic oak and mellow barley sweetness, unfolding into crystallised ginger, raisin and a smooth, spiced finish. A limited edition expression of The Balvenie’s classic house style, it allows more people to experience the sensorial thread that connects the collection: from the silent depth of the Eighty Eight Year Old to the living craft of today.
