The nose unfurls with white peonies, ripe Anjou pears, green apples, and raw cashews, with crystalized honey, green tea leaves, and white peaches moving in and out of the foreground as the nose evolves in the glass. On the palate, the creamy, sun-warmed Chardonnay flavors echo the nose, adding lemon curd, wildflower honey, sea salt, and a fleeting suggestion of fresh spearmint, all seasoned with mouth-watering, limestone minerality. Another fabulous wine in this remarkable Mâconnais vintage; the overall impression is one of luscious, sunny mineral opulence.
