Compass Box Brulée Royale Blended Malt Scotch Whisky

Continuing our adventures into patisserie, Brûlée Royale sees Clynelish fruit and Benrinnes custard ooze together at a silken 49% ABV. Curiously regal for American oak. Gloss and texture from the inclusion of the Speyburn, considerably aged in recharred barrels, caramelise perfectly in a sweet sugar seal.

FLAVOUR PROFILE: Immediate Crème Brulée, which opens to custard Danish and scorched sugar brittles. The palate is thick with clotted cream, honeyed malt and broiled peaches followed by custard & Tarte Tatin. Pannacotta & gentle nutmeg spice followed by silken jersey milk, toasted sugar and banana split.
