Dark Arts x F44 "Loon Wizard" Sauternes Cask Single Barrel Rye

This cask-strength rye was aged for 6.5 years in American oak and then finished in a cask of that gold standard of French dessert wines, Sauternes. This unique finish imparts notes on the whiskey that are specific to this regional wine delicacy.

There are aromas of grape must, honey, flowers, and some baking spice with a touch of caramel.

The palate begins like Sauternes with floral honey and grape must. The classic notes of whiskey don't arrive until later with caramel and baking spice and a lingering orange and grapefruit finish. This is a truly unique experience that only Dark Arts can provide with their special barrel finishes.
