Domaine Belliviere Jasnieres 'Les Rosiers' 2022

100% Chenin Blanc. "Les Rosiers" is from Bellivière's younger Jasnières vines, across 24 parcels totaling 5 hectares. The wine is aged in used 350-liter barrels, with a small proportion of new ones in any given year, for about a year. Bellivière Chenins always finish with at least a little residual sugar, as the family will never push the fermentation past the point where it lands naturally. The 2022 finished with 7 grams RS/liter (and 3.65 grams of acidity). The name of the wine references the rose bushes the Nicolas family planted outside their cellar door decades ago.
