Fichet Chassagne-Montrachet 2023

A riper though still attractively fresh nose combines notes of rosemary oil, petrol, a vague whiff of the exotic and a dollop of wood toast. The rich, sappy and mouth coating medium-bodied flavors display good power on the frank, lingering and even more rustic finale. This is not a wine of finesse but it's generous and balanced and should easily repay 5 to 8 years of cellaring.
