Gail Doris Red 2022 Sonoma

A classic California blend of Zinfandel (75%), Barbera (20%) and Alicante Bouschet (5%). This vintage of Doris Red reminds me of the old Mezcolanza field blend produced up at School House Vineyard on Spring Mountain. Freshly ground black peppercorns and a punchy tartness carry through the finish.
