H. Goutorbe Brut Champagne 2013 PN/CH

Goutorbe's Brut Grand Cru Cuvée Millésimé opens in the glass with a youthful bouquet of delicately honeyed orchard fruits, buttery pastry, dried white flowers, tangerine and malt. On the palate, it's full-bodied, ample and expansive, with an elegantly textural attack, ripe acids, a fleshy core and a frothy mousse. Despite the rounded, charming estate style, the profile of the vintage is such that the wine really merits more time on cork.
