Henri Bourgeois Sancerre Jadis 2020

The Bourgeois Sancerre Jadis exhibits intensely pungent and almost candied mintiness that mingles in the nose with lanolin and resin notes from barrel. Silken-textured but tartly informed by apple and lime along with mouthwatering salinity, it finishes with considerable bitterness on top of chalky and peppery notes, for an impressively persistent if far from winsome effect. This is certainly Sauvignon with an attitude!
