This Cold IPA is called 'cold' because it is fermented with a blend of ale and lager yeast at a temperature that is lower than normal for IPAs. We also added rice and corn to the grain bill to create an ultra crisp, dry finish. As much as this sounds like a crispy lager, it's most definitely an IPA since it is aggressively hopped with Citra, El Dorado, and a relatively new hop called Nectaron from New Zealand. These hops combine to create a hop flavor profile similar to a West Coast IPA. 7.2% ABV.
