Their characteristic spice layered over a background of dark fruit. Drinkable now, or hold it for a while. Their vineyard, with its cool climate and shallow mountain soil, continues to demonstrate that Syrah grown in the right place makes a wonderfully complex wine. It's a beautiful thing.
