Lagrimas de Dolores Cenizo Mezcal

Lagrimas de Dolores Joven is made with agave Durangensis (Maguey Cenizo) in the state of Durango. This mezcal is one of a growing number made by a maestra mezcalera (female mezcalero). Her name is Fabiola Ávila and she has a degree in Biochemistry and Biotechnology with a specialization in fermentation from the Technological Institute of Durango. Raul Resendiz is a biochemist who also assists in the production of this mezcal.
