Rezpiral Series 7 Pulquero Reina Sanchez

Rezpiral Pulquero is made by famed mezcalera Reina (Reyna) Sanchez in San Luis Amatlan, Oaxaca. She makes her mezcal with agave that were cooked in a pit oven, mashed by hand with mallets, and double distilled in a copper still.Aromas include sweet notes like vanilla, marshmallow, cake, and fruit along with funkier elements such as grass, wood and smoke. Flavors lean toward fruit (oranges, mango), tartness, and sweetness, often with savory or spicy accents such as pepper and BBQ. Tasting notes suggest complexity and a long finish.
