Planted on ungrafted vines that are 90+ years old, the site is cut on one side by a stream which helps to bring down the air temperature of the vineyard. As a result, the vines tend to ripen later in the season. With the change in climate, this has proven to be a major benefit. The wine has extraordinary minerality, phenolics, and pronounced acidity to keep everything bright and balanced.
