Tequila Ocho Plata Capulin 2025

Rancho Capulín lies 14km southeast of Los Alambiques next to a small hamlet known as “Capulín de Chavez," a name referencing the small fruit of the capulín tree.The gentle hillside sits at 2,180 meters (7,140 ft) above sea level with a small creek and agave fields fully exposed to sunlight with a continuous line of ash and oak trees.

With approximately 55,000 fully matured agave plants, the field is expected to harvest ~1,750 tons of agave, averaging 32kgs (70 pounds) piñas and a 30% sugar content.

Aroma: Chamomile flowers, rosemary, orange juice, green apple, corn and cooked agave.
Palate: Sweet cooked agave and cinnamon notes balance a mineral and slightly salty taste. This is a full-bodied tequila with a silky palate.
