Victoria is a wild ale with plums. A blend of younger and older wild ale refermented and macerated for over 8 months on local organic plums (400 grams/liter).
The plums are nicely present but well integrated in the beer., together with a hint of vanilla and a slightly sea-breeze and flowery aroma. When tasting Victoria, vibrant plums, mandarin peel, rosemary and sage (from the hops) and a hint of marzipan are present. The pleasant bitterness and sourness are complementing the fresh plums and slightly fruity and zesty wild yeast character very well.
Victoria is suitable for aging, especially for 1 up to 3 years, to let the fruit blend in even more into the beer
